A dear friend invited me to her local Polish cafe, Politur, after raving about all the delicious food she had tried there. The seating area and order counter are located at the back of the shop, which also sells a variety of Polish ingredients. The food was good, but not as flavorful as I had hoped. The baked chicken, pierogi, and mushroom soup were tasty, but the portions were smaller than what I am accustomed to. I do plan on returning to try the cake, however, overall it was just okay.
This lovely Polish restaurant in the neighborhood is a regular haunt for me, and I have never been disappointed with the food. The dishes are delicious, the portions are generous, and the service is quick. The staff is friendly and accommodating. The goulash with potato pancake is a must-try dish. The atmosphere is welcoming.
This was my second visit to this restaurant and I came with a close friend to have something non-so-expensive but beautiful culinary experience. this place offers a beautiful selection of dressed and the food is freshly prepared, the portions are quite large and the staff is also quite friendly. I would prepare her placek po zbojnigku', which prepares a dish in goulash and kartoffel pancakes.
I must say that this place serves really good Polish food that i have had so far. There are minor flaws like the potatoes in my dish were slightly under cooked but over all the flavors and taste of almost each dish was perfect and very close to authentic Polish food. Highly recommended!
