Vault73 - Newcastle

Dinner tonight at this iconic former bank, I sat in maybe what was the bank manager office. Potato gnocchi, garlic shrimp, bygole, fennel, lemon olive oil Gorgeous soft pillows gnocchi surrounded by a lip lubricating garlic oil, juicy shrimps and bygoles. Such a delicious dish. White chocolate semi-freddo, salted caramel, vanilla ice cream, popcorn I really enjoyed the flavors, but despite a candy this was simply too sweet. Needs a better balance to the salted caramel and perhaps the addition of a tart component and/or a light sponge. Was a nice quiet Monday, mood lighting was great for a date night. The staff was friendly and helpful. We enjoyed the food and thought it was very delicious. We recommend the Arancini! The meat was a little chewing, but still tasty. And all the other food was really good. Also pumpkin Risotto was winner.

Good service, good waiter, the pizza was so delicious that we ate everything.

Love it here! Excellent staff, super cool mood, but not pretentious at all. Beautiful stylish comfort. The food is great and they are really happy to fit everything I have to perform my events. As an event planner I find them so great to work with and as a patron it is just an excellent round small bar.

Vault 73 made for an excellent night. Had roast lamb (rare) and risotto dairy free. It was excellent. The chefs did a great job getting a rare order right and catering for my dietary requirements. The porter beer they have there was amazing and the staff were very friendly. Also on a side note, there was a bunch of Lego and toys there which kept my 3yr old occupied and let my partner and myself have a nice relaxing night. Will definitely be going back.
