The Umbrian - Newcastle

We stumbled upon Umbria by chance while exploring Newcastle and were immediately impressed by the staff and owners. We ended up visiting twice, once for morning coffee and later for lunch. The coffee was excellent and the homemade lunch was delightful. We even indulged in dessert. Umbria is a charming café that offers a blend of Italian flavors and Newcastle hospitality.

I was looking for a good coffee this morning and found him! coffee was delicious and then I saw the piadine house made with a good choice of filling. I had prosciutto, mozzarella and rocket divine! I'll be back!

A fantastic caffe that offers the real Umbria experience. I could have been in italy! the piadina is a unique foundation i newcastle. the fleshballs are divine. sensational. such a friendly atmosphere could stay hours.

Love the feeling of this place. the owners always work there and the coffee is the best in newcastle!

We stopped here both mornings for a very early post yoga coffee, It is always good to support the early birds and the staff were so cheery and friendly, we only wish we were on track to try the piadina they looked delish
