How have I not reviewed this awesome little cafe yet? The team are the friendliest bunch ever, and always make you feel utterly welcome. The food is delicious and as a non coffee drinker, there are plenty of other delightful options, but I hear the coffee is the best in Newcastle. I couldn't rate this place any higher :

Fabulous! The staff are always genuine and friendly and the sweetie pie who recommended the chicken toastie today was on the money! The dining area is lovely and calm and well spaced. Lovely decorations, lovely space, beautiful people and delicious food. Oh and the coffee, always fantastic.

What a great experience. It was clear the staff knew how to treat their regulars, which is so essential for a top tier cafe. I watched a man on a phone give a hand signal which prompted 'ready for your 2nd coffee? '. I watched the laughs and acknowledgement of other regulars of all age brackets. My gen z teen had begged me for an acai bowl, which is what lead me to Sherwoods, but I 'll be a regular now after watching them in action and downloading their very user friendly app. The menu has both single and double digit offerings, so they cater for all budgets.

I ordered an açai bowl and coffee frappe, and my bf ordered a Bécon egg roll. Everything from here was incredible! I liked the vibe too. They clean the table and toilet well.
