I went to this restaurant on a Sunday afternoon and it was incredible. I ordered the bark and nasturtium. I typically only eat veggies, so I was pleasantly surprised to find a pub on a Sunday afternoon that had such tasty options for vegetarians. The veggies were cooked perfectly. I also indulged in a delicious piece of cheesecake afterwards. I left feeling completely satisfied.

The Sunday roast was absolutely delicious. The meat was cooked perfectly and just fell apart. The service was fantastic, with staff who were smiling and attentive. I would highly recommend this restaurant as the perfect place for a date, with its beautiful and cozy atmosphere.

The food is always delicious and the owner is always great. This place is a little hidden gem in Newcastle!

Something of a hidden gem that deserves to be better known. A lovely place to sit and enjoy a drink with friends, with a good choice of drinks that are very reasonably priced. Also the ladies toilets are great (never underestimate the power of clean and shiny toilets to improve your visit to anywhere! The food is very good indeed, with an interesting focus on East Asian dishes. Recommended.
