We enjoyed our food, we just felt the staff could have been more knowledgeable about the menu’s/dishes.

I’ve been a few times now and this time was quite disappointing. Service and staff excellent as always but the food wasn’t to standard to what I would expect or have had there before. First time I would say I wouldn’t recommend based on last nights meal.

Never been dissapointed here where the food is truly flavour packed and prepared with extreme care by ex Masterchef finalist, Dave. Always looked after and used for special occasiuons where the wine float is a must for the larger menus. Expensive but worth it. Some month's do a special menu for lunch which is great value taster menu for the larger more expensive menu options. Quality on any menu is just outstanding. No other restuarant compares for quality of food, thus far! Cheese platter supplied by Grate in Jesmond is worthy of special mention as is the service. Oh, and the Kets! Can't go wrong just save up first and do it.

Had a fabulous birthday meal here on the 19th August. The tasting menu was delicious and actually so much food, we were absolutely stuffed! The service was excellent when booking and also at the restaurant. We were very well attended to. I would recommend a visit here to everyone.
