Basmati - NEWCASTLE-UNDER-LYME

We had a fantastic meal for my Birthday Thanks to the great service at this resteurant ,even though they were very busy .Highly recommend this place.

Haven't visited The Basmati for a few weeks. I realised what I had been missing. The food is excellent. Ali and his staff are very polite and professional. Early Wednesday evening and the restaurant was packed. I think that says it all about The Basmati, top class

Service: impeccable and friendly. Food: sumptuous cooked to perfection. Extensive menu which indulges everyone. All in all, a great evening out. Not just for the food, but also the food ‘theatre’.

A family group visited for evening meal, warm welcome, quick service. Food was very nice, lots to choose from. Restaurant was very busy, only one niggle where we sat, on the lower level I felt very hemmed in, tables were too close, with chairs back to back with the table next to us, making it difficult to get out to go to the toilet. Staff were happy to serve. Would I recommend, yes, it's worth a visit, would I rush back, probably not.

Been going to basmati for years and it never fails ...the food the staff and the service is absolutely spot on ..totally recommend this place.
