Sonic Drive-in - Newburgh

I went in and ordered the honey BBQ popcorn bites, which were okay but not seasoned enough. I also ordered two milkshakes, which were good, and the onion rings were very tasty. The service was friendly and quick. The order was accurate and reasonably priced.

The manner in which I was treated at this restaurant made for a disappointing dining experience. My order was not ready when I arrived and I had to place it myself. I waited for 30-45 minutes for my food without any communication from the staff. Eventually, I discovered that I needed to go into the kitchen area to collect my order. The poor service I received has left me with no desire to dine at this establishment again or to order food from here in the future.

The staff is never helpful and the machines are always broken at this restaurant. If they can't operate properly, they should just close down. I attempted to order a drink multiple times and waited over 15 minutes each time without receiving it. I even tried ordering through their app for pick-up, but encountered the same problem. They take your money but you end up leaving without your order due to long wait times. Avoid ordering food or drinks from this place unless you have all the time in the world to wait. It's a complete joke!

I wanted sonic. I saw there for 40 minutes that someone even welcomed us. Nobody ever did it. I asked a carhop if he knew how long it would take until someone could answer. he said it was a long time and I should probably just go....horrible customer service. Being short-time is a thing, but that was just ridiculous.

We love their food, quality, speed of service and friendly staff.
