Best homemade comfort food only spicy if you want spicy
This place needs an updated review. They don't serve Korean food or fusion anymore. The last time we were able to order fusion was summer of 2019. The restaurant half of the place I have never seen used and seems to be abandoned. So instead you enter through a dodgy alternate door leading you to a very sad bar where you are then showered with zero atmosphere, little or no music and 2-4 locals who keep their bartender friend company. The food is now just a list of uninspired bar snacks ordered in frozen from Cysco Foods then dipped into a fryer prepared by your bartender. Only come in to play pool or video slots and order a bottom shelf mixed drink if you've given on your dreams. The star is only for the aLways friendly service.
Now known as Vineyard Grill great Korean Bulgoki appetizers. Terrific service. Owners are the terrific chefs give this place a try!
This is our second time in two straight weeks we dropped in for some authentic Korean cooking. The first was a real surprise to see a Korean Fusion restaurant in Newberg so we had to try it. The second time was because the food was so good the first time. If you haven't tried Korean before, I recommend trying the Bulgoki beef then move on to other items on the menu. I recommend it.
