Teranga Midtown - New York City

This is a midtown location of a restaurant whose flagship establishment is situated in the African Art Center in Harlem. It is found within the expansive food court of the building formerly known as Citicorp Center. The dining area is beautifully designed, and several restaurants here offer vegan options, particularly Teranga and Avacoderia. Customers place their orders at the counter, where the food is elegantly presented in dishes for either takeout or dining in. While the menu isn’t extensive, the offerings are flavorful and include a good selection of vegan items. I tried the old vegan bowl, which I found to be excellent—healthy and very filling.
