Contribuiți la feedbackI am a big fan of being fully present and not constantly on my phone when it comes to enjoying things and experiences. However, I do appreciate the convenience of modern times as it allows me to discover places like this one. The experience at this restaurant was fantastic! The customer service was excellent and the soup samples were delicious. I have visited the Essex Market multiple times before, but I had never noticed this place until now. I was happy that Google led me to them. I also appreciate that they offer vegan options, which aligns perfectly with my dietary preferences. On my first visit, I tried the large CURRIED BUTTERNUT SQUASH soup topped with pumpkin seeds.

The customer service and the food sampling were excellent. I have been to Essex Market a few times and never noticed this place before. I am so grateful that Google led me to it now. I should also mention that they offer vegan options, which is a huge plus for me. The first time I visited, I had a delicious curried butternut squash with pumpkin seeds on top. The second time, I tried two soups - organic carrot ginger and tomato basil soup with mushrooms. This place has become a favorite of mine, even though they may only have a couple vegan options.
I am a big fan of truly being present and not glued to my phone when it comes to enjoying things and experiences. However, I appreciate the convenience of modern technology as it helps me discover places like this. The experience at this restaurant was fantastic! The focus here is on excellent customer service and delicious soup samples. Despite visiting the Essex market several times before, I had never noticed this gem of a place until Google showed it to me. I was thrilled to see that they also offer vegan options, which is right up my alley. While they may only have a couple of vegan choices available, that's more than enough for me. I tried the large portion of the CURRIED BUTTERNUT SQUASH soup with pumpkin seeds on top, and it was delicious.
Located in the Essex Market, this restaurant offers takeout or dining in the market itself with plenty of seating available upstairs. While Project Eats, an all-vegan eatery downstairs, gets a slight edge, Peasant Stock is also impressive and offers a tasty vegan cornbread that stands out among others. Additionally, Essex Market has a variety of vegan-friendly vendors, including Riverdel for vegan cheese, making it a must-visit spot in the area.
