Mamoun's Falafel Greenwich Village

This restaurant is a fantastic spot for dinner. The food is delicious, but the portions are on the smaller side. Luckily, there is a park nearby where you can take your food and enjoy it. The meat combo with Shawarma and falafel is particularly outstanding. However, the Baklava had an excessive amount of cinnamon which overpowered the flavor. Just a heads up, they only take cash so make sure you have some on hand!

This New York institution is located on MacDougal Street and is known for its friendly and helpful staff. They offer a fantastic variety of sandwiches and desserts, with the standout being their delicious falafel. The falafel is served smashed with tomatoes, salad, and tahini sauce, resulting in a truly finger-licking good dish. It is definitely worth a visit to this wonderful spot.

Bland, but I’m too lazy to find another place, so I keep coming back. The falafels can use some salt and the sandwich is more iceberg lettuce and tomatoes than falafels. But it’s good enough. The location (west village- macdougal street is iconic and steps from Washington square park) is part of its appeal!

Located in one of my favorite parts of the city, and also right next to the comedy cellar. Great place to stop if you want something at a good price point and want to be quick on the go. Very small and they only accept cash but there is an ATM right outside the door. Food is fresh, and hot and very authentic. I was surprised at the quality and definitely look forward to going back.

Tasty falafel with great tahini sauce! Gluten free ingredients. Outdoor seating available but very unappealing. I expected rats to join us at any moment. But a classic place to visit. I'd go back and simply carry my tasty order to another place to devour.
