Liberty Bistro - New York City

First of all, I will say that this is the third time I have been here. The first time was spectacular, the second time was very disappointing, since we waited for 20 minutes before anyone even offered us menus or drinks and we ended up waiting an hour and a half without any food. : I chalked that experience up to the restaurant having a bad day. But the first visit was so good that I brought visiting family here for brunch and was so happy that I did. Between 6 of us, we had omelets, eggs, Benedict, burgers, **** Mary, and more. Everything was fantastic, as was the service, and while it was too cold for outdoor seating this time, the Bistro is still very charming in decor and ambiance. We will be back.

Nice outdoor seating and great water views. Located inside the winter garden dining hall “District” this is a good bistro style French restaurant with a modern NYC sensibility.

Service was just up to standard. Oysters are super small , it’s fresh tho, but the fork they use was wooden made…come on! Stainless steel forks that expensive? Steak obviously overcooked! From medium rare became medium well! OMG! Luckily, the meat quality and the seasoning saved them! Overall, it’s …a western Cha Chan Tang !

Amazing views when sitting outside! Every dish is delicious but unfortunately they do not offer the escargots anymore
