Location by Bryant Park and Wall Street are a great place for a quick delish bite. Great staff at both locations. Fan of the ginger tea and the mint tea. Some artisan bread with prosciutto seals the deal.
Regular service...you get charged and still don't end ...place regular not highly recommended
Title: Mixed Experience, Great Turnover, So-So Cappuccino Review: I recently visited Le Pain Quotidien for a quick snack after work. Despite its spacious indoor and outdoor seating, the restaurant was surprisingly empty, providing a relaxed atmosphere. The rustic decor and soft background music added to the ambiance. On to the food: the apple turnover was a standout, with a deliciously pronounced apple flavor and a flaky, ungreasy pastry served just right. It was fresh and not greasy, and the fact that it was served unheated was perfect for my taste. Unfortunately, I can 't say the same for the cappuccino. The espresso in the cappuccino was exceedingly strong and bitter, to the point where it overpowered the milk entirely, leaving an unpleasant aftertaste. The presentation in a bowl-like container was unusual and made handling the hot beverage difficult, especially since it lacked a handle. The foam artwork on top was also poorly executed, appearing blurry and unattractive. Regrettably, I couldn 't bring myself to finish the cup. The service left much to be desired. Upon being seated, my waitress dropped a menu on my table and started to walk away. I had to call her back to place my order: a small cappuccino and an apple turnover. There was no warm welcome or a smile, and the overall demeanor of the staff I observed did not seem enthusiastic or friendly. It starkly contrasted the cozy atmosphere, as the service lacked the warmth and friendliness that would have further enhanced the overall dining experience.
I really enjoy this restaurant's peaceful atmosphere. The lemon ginger honey hot drink is absolutely delicious and perfect for warming up on a chilly day. The food is equally as tasty.
