Iron Bar & Lounge - New York City

I had a great experience at Black Iron Burger. I had the Chistorra Burger which was a special on the menu and it was amazing. Khemali the bartender was great, she made an amazing Negroni. The service was great all around and I will definitely come back again. Thank you to everyone!!!

Once again I scored some tickets to a play and as per usual, bestie and I tried a new spot for our pre-theatre nourishment. It was a Friday evening the first week in March, and time square was busy as always. It took us a little longer to find parking, so once we grabbed a spot we, picked a restaurant close to Booth Theatre. Iron Bar was on the corner and had tables available for immediate seating. It's a bar that offers bar food. Service was quick and staff was pleasant with the exception of one or two, who clearly did not want to be there. We order a couple cocktails that were ok. For food I opted for the Blacken Grilled Chicken sandwhich and bestie ordered the Grilled Chicken Pizza. Both were decent. My fries were good, you know a bar food staple, but my chicken breast was really tender and not dry. Bestie's pizza was also tasty, the pesto sauce was a nice touch. Looking for a quick pre-theatre meal without pomp and circumstance, Iron Bar fits the bill. Just A Note: They can get loud and busy, but it is a bar.

I almost walked out. I arrived to a fairly busy pre-matinee dining time but there were a few empty tables. The host at the door was sitting on his phone and made no effort to look up, acknowledge me, anything. I finally spoke up and asked are you seating folks still? And finally he put his phone down and brought me to a table. Service was okay. The water was super nice, but took forever to get the check, and never got him to come back around for a drink refill. I eventually had to get the attention of a gentleman clearing a table next to me to ask for a check. The food came out quick and was really good!! I asked for no sauce, and I always worry it will come out with mayo. It was perfect and very delicious! Food

Food is great, service ok but the ambience/ music is off the hook... great place to rest, relax and enjoy the music, drink and food...

Great bar right in Times Square! The bartenders are super friendly and make great drinks here. On Friday and Saturday they have a DJ who plays great music all night. They also serve hookah here, which isn't the greatest, but it's still a plus to have at the bar.
