Insomnia Cookies - New York City

Workers came from outside, threw on a shirt and started serving cookies. Didn’t make an attempt to wash their hands….. disgusting!!!

Bad for business, online states store closes at 1am, arrived at 12:51am, they had the doors closed already and signaled that they were done.

I visited the restaurant on the night they had a promotion where you could get a free cookie while wearing pajamas. Two staff members, who were Black, mentioned a contest where if we finished cookies with a lot of icing, we could win shirts. When the cookies arrived, one of them made a comment about the icing on our faces, which I found to be very inappropriate. I couldn’t shake the feeling that it was a prank. To make matters worse, we noticed that another customer who came in after us received the cookies for free. Overall, I found the experience to be unprofessional and disrespectful.

Their cookies remind me of David's cookies from back in the day. They are very delicious and warm! Although they aren't cheap, they're definitely worth the price!
