Gyu-kaku Japanese Bbq - New York City

Delicious food and a great atmosphere, especially during happy hour. Parking on the weekends is a breeze!

This is my favorite spot for Japanese-style BBQ. I have never found any beef Harami that can compete with the incredible taste of their pot Harami. Although the restaurant is often busy, the staff handles customer service so well that the wait times are very short, and they are exceptionally friendly! I have a cherished memory of enjoying a cocktail called 'Sakegria' from an old menu, and I would love to see it brought back during happy hour—it used to bring me so much joy. I would really like to have that cocktail again!

The food was really good and the waitress was helpful in helping my significant other and I to choose the best option to eat. The price is a bit expensive but not too crazy for manhattan! We waited a bit for the food before someone took our order. Make reservations!!

Happy hr isn't all day...all night anymore...its until 5pm...service is top notch...drinks still hit the spot...but now...ur gonna be payin more for your drinks...prices for happy hr drinks went up BiG..

The server, Jose, is fantastic! The service was excellent, and his recommendations were spot on. I will definitely be returning soon!
