Brooklyn Crab - New York City

I decided to try this restaurant after a visit to the aquarium because I really wanted crab. Unfortunately, the crab I was served appeared to have been pre-boiled and was not steaming hot when it arrived at the table. It was served in a metal bowl covered with a wood bowl that was meant to be used as a trash bowl for the crab legs, rather than a typical bowl for seafood boil. The server did not remove the wood bowl from the metal bowl, so I had to remove it myself. Additionally, I was not given a bib and utensils until a minute after my food was served. By the time I was a third of the way through my meal, it was already cold. I was very disappointed with the food, which I found to be overpriced and the worst seafood I have had in recent memory. I will not be returning to this restaurant, despite the fantastic ambiance.

Place has fun atmosphere but value for food is not there. Fish and chips were disappointing. My friend didn't eat it bc the fish is too thick and didn't taste very fresh. Got the pot for 2. It was about $100 market price and only came with one lobster and some crab legs and some corn. Definitely did not seem worth the price. It doesn't want to make me come back. Overprice for quality and value of food. Disappointing.

I had the crab cake. It was delicious, very generous on the crab meat, and tasted fresh. The staff are very friendly attentive, although they had a few large groups to attend to, including a table of 24! I would like to try it during the summer on an afternoon.

There was no dinner. We spent 30 dollars to get there, and the restaurante was closed! It was an insult! The restaurant simply act like nothing happened, and sent us no message even to apologize. I really hope that no one else have to go through this like we did.

Brooklyn Crab is always incredible. It’s a splurge night, but it is worth it. The service is always great and fast!
