For what it is (a brew pub), Flying Goose does it well. First of all, the service was excellent. Our server was prompt, very friendly and got everything right. The beers are all very good, with a huge variety for any type of taste. The burger is excellent with a really nice char on the outside and juicy inside. Very generous portion of sweet potato fries on the side (some of the best we've had). The turkey tips were good but the portion was pretty small. Looked like a diet plate with the smallest baked potato I've ever seen (about the size of a small tangerine). I'd probably stick with more bar food (apps or burgers) because the value wasn't there for the turkey tips. We chose the pub seating but next time might choose the porch because there are great views of the mountain from out there.

I have been dining at the Flying Goose since a friend told me about the restaurant in 2016. The fish and chips are delicious and the homemade slaw is the best. My wife and I ate there last night and celebrated my birthday. We both had fish. I had the fish chips and she had the Fishwich sandwich. The service was great and we had a table by the window and enjoyed the gorgeous views at the back of the restaurant. I brought half of my fish chips home and will enjoy them for dinner tonight. We bring visitors here often and everyone has been happy with the food and service. We are both in the Birthday Club and I recommend signing up. The Flying Goose is very generous. Most places do not even give a free dessert for a birthday. Keep up the wonderful work and thanks for all of your sustainability efforts!

This will be my last visit. I keep trying and it's just not working out. Our waitress was either slow or overbooked but we waited and waited for drinks. No refills ever offered. Our food took longer than those seated after us. The chicken on the Cobb salad was too dry to cut let alone chew. The Thai noodles were flavorless and mushy. It looks good but it just wasn't. I tried!!
