Capitol Lunch - New Britain

Hotdogs were like biting plastic, and the chili on the hotdogs was horrible. The service was excellent, nice people. I understand this place has been around for a while, but it's time for an upgrade on hotdogs and chili.Next time, I will try hamburger.

So highly disappointed! Came in today after coming back to town, always had a great experience until today! I came in with my service dog, I wasn't asked anything only told they don't allow pets, I explained that my dog was a service dog. A lady there was rude, walked into the area my dog was standing and said shew...note, the dog didn't move from where he was standing we were told we had to leave and couldn't eat there. I was in shock and left without making a purchase. It's too bad people don't know the laws.

LOVE this place!! Been coming here for over 30 years and NOTHING has changed! Really affordable great hotdogs and burgers..moved out of New Britain and we still keep driving back??

My family has been going since it opened almost one hundred years ago. Wow. I've been going since 1967. I live in NH now, and i have to drive 3 hrs each way uphill lol) to get the sauce. Worth it. It brings me back to my childhood when I take a bite. comfort food at its best. Nothing like the snap of a Rolsols dog with the perfectly spiced meat sauce. Thanks for the years of memories.
