Platters - New Bedford

August 20, 2022 - They’re back! ❤️❤️❤️ Open for business and as creative as ever! On August 7, I went for breakfast, as usual, but they were closed! What on earth? Apparently, the tax authorities had seized them. It seems like a call to all gentrifiers – it’s an opportunity for you, but what about the locals?

This place offers a classic diner experience. The interior isn't particularly fancy, but the food was excellent. My grandchildren had chocolate chip pancakes and hot dogs, which they loved, while my wife and I opted for the speck cheeseburgers, both of which we thoroughly enjoyed. The waitresses were attentive and eager to help.

A charming older gentleman runs this fantastic restaurant, and the service is exceptional. My wife and I were visiting from Michigan for a holiday and stumbled upon this place through a Google search. It comes highly recommended!

Amazing food, excellent service. A hidden gem for breakfast in the area. Never once had a bad meal here. Very reasonable prices with friendly staff serving up all kinds of breakfast and lunch options.
