Snowfox Sushi - New Baltimore

Location is closed sayonara ramen and sushi sad to see you go. guess it's back to the top ramen and packed sushi at the nearby walgreens.

A great place for sushi and bento boxes. Their spicy tuna and salmon rolls are flavorful and are not skimpy on the toppings. The Chicken Katsu bento box is one of my favorites as the chicken has a delicious, crunchy exterior and a juicy, soft interior which makes it a perfect piece of meat and the rice is very good as well. The curry sauce is flavorful but I wish it would be more creamy and not as liquidy. The only problem I see is that the prices are a bit high for certain products compared to other places. The bento boxes tend to be around $12-$15 usually but it gives a lot and most sushi rolls are $10-$12 so you cannot always buy it from them but their special happy hour sale where sushi is half off is great so I usually go at night.

In my quest to find the best cheap eats around campus, I decided to give Snowfox a shot. I'm a s for a soothing bowl of Tonkatsu ramen and was lured in by their sign outside. Shoutout to Snowfox for hooking it up with that student discount AND a stamp card. It's a chill spot- order up front and you're given a buzzer. Then when it comes a buzzin' you pick up your food in the back. For a casual eatery, their ramen is on point and the right portion size. As someone who almost always takes home leftovers, I slurped that entire bowl. My only gripe is that I wish they would give more than 2 small pieces of pork.

A crisp spot for a midday lunch by the office. This place is looking neat as hell and the grab n go meals do too. Only thing is it's kind of pricey but I have a loyalty card so I can get a free something after ten times of coming here I think. Also makes you feel better that you got sushi/rice bowl with some healthy elements compared to the Arby's or shake shack next door

This location in NoMad-Flat Iron has unfortunately closed down, and I was quite disappointed. After being away from the city for a long time due to COVID, I was really looking forward to visiting my favorite ramen spot. Thank you for your service, and I hope you are doing well wherever you are now. The food was excellent, and it had plenty of seating in a fantastic location across from the park.
