Tourist trap restaurant for uninspiring food To be fair, here's my mathematical approach to my rating.

The food was awesome and the staff was very kindWe came in late when they were about to close and they graciously served us.

I have to agree with previous reviews that the portions are AMERICAN SIZE!!! Wow. I share the Yorkshire pudding and crab cake appetizer and we were already full... Ordered buttermilk chicken and pizza margherita but we were so full we got the pizza to go. I was skeptical of eating at a hotel restaurant, but I was pleasantly surprised. Menu has gluten free options and the dishes are creative and again, HUGE. 3 chicken breasts for the chicken and waffles! Wow. Also, I don't know what the hype is about over chicken and waffles. It is indeed a strange combination lol... Anyway definitely a good spot to eat here in the west Kootenays! Don't be afraid to try. Menu is a bit pricey but the size of the portions and the quality of the food is worth it.

Best meal bar none in the area! Prices are fair serving is large and quality is top notch.Everything from atmosphere to service was wonderful. We WILL be back!
