The Wax - Nelson

I have been vigilant for a year and I can honestly say I love how these ladies termine can work around my busy life. I have received many different treatments and recently a beautiful spray-breath of the beautiful owner dee, who always makes ms smile

From the moment I walked into shop, was greeted by friendly staff and made to feel at ease. Treatments received were all of a high standard. I couldn't recommend this place enough, check it out for yourself. I'm a fan!!

This review is for gel nails. Although the woman who applied my polish was lovely my nails were a disaster. I had them done for a wedding two days later and by the time of the wedding five of my finger nails were badly chipped and two were starting to peel off. Now, less than a week later, 8 of the 10 fingernails have peeled off!! Even on day one all of them looked like they had been done at least a week prior because the polish was applied so far away from the cuticle. There were also bits missing on the sides. One of my toes had completely come off. I could tell that the woman was not experienced at doing nails at all. I don’t think this company should be offering nails. I have had gel nails many times and this has to rate as my worst ones yet. The colour selection was also very limited and they had run out of bright red, saying it was “popular”. Well why would you not keep up supplies? Sorry Wax bar but you should stick to waxing or train your nail technicians a LOT better. I did enjoy being chatted to by the woman doing my nails whereas at many nail places the operators don’t speak to me, perhaps because English is not their first language but they do my nails a great deal better than The Wax Bar.

I had such a great experience yesterday morning when I came in without appointment, the dame was very accommodating and adapted me though they were pretty busy. large eyebrow formation, would highly recommend for some on fleee grey! thank you
