Fabulous Italian food….struggling to think of better pasta…not over facing…delicious rose vino with it….the owner is a dream…highly recommended

Not impressed with the service. We sat outside because they were full but no one bothered to clean our table. The owner served our food but he just left us have our meal next to empty beer bottles from previous customers. Our order took about 45mins because apparently they had to make the pasta from scratch, but to be honest there was nothing special about how it tasted and didn 't come with any bread. The owner seemed to be super chatty friendly with well dressed customers, even gave one gentleman a mafia kiss and they all had a good laugh. But to us, he came across as rude I hope I 'm wrong. Giving 2 stars because the ambiance was really nice, it 's situated in a charming strip mall in the middle of town that felt like you 're in California. It was our very first visit to Nelson probably the last to this restaurant.

Absolutely the best bolognese I ever had! and the sauce has cooked when I came so super fresh out of the pot! and the house made tiramisu is to eat for! definitiw my new favourite place! and the service was stellar!

After visiting italia in 2019 I regularly go to Italian restaurants. I have never visited a restaurant in Italian style as this. eating was exquisite, atmosphere and ambiente to put was just as it should be. rafaello was very friendly, humble and made the experience something special. I was very impressed.

Great customer service. The owner is super friendly. Food was very authentic with basic ingredients but full of flavour.
