Akbabas - Nelson

Always buy a kabab from here when in town, wouldn't go anywhere else. Still cheap tasty and friendly

We come to Nelson from ChCh not only for this beautiful place, but for this beautiful food and amazing person , welcoming and Great food.

The meat on chips is THE ultimate hangover cure. They use shoestring fries for the chips which are PERFECTLY cooked and seasoned even after leaving my leftovers in the fridge for a couple of hours the fries were still crispy!? I got both the lamb and chicken both of which were delicious. The owner is also super lovely. Would very highly recommend.

We ordered nine kebabs. The pleasant, courteous man worked quickly and skilfully to get the order ready in no time. He even 'threw in ' some hot chips for the kids! The kebabs were SO tasty...a healthy takeaway that was delicious. Thank you.

Absolutely amazing food, so quick too! The vegetarian zucchini kebabs are flipping epic. Always stop here if I am in Nelson.
