Turtle Soup - NARRAGANSETT

We just returned from vacation and the food was so good we took my parents back for a second night out to eat there. The tuna my wife had rare was great she raved about it I had the mahi mahi which was seasoned well the first night and a pork chop special the second which was great. My son gave the calamari a and it didnt even come with marinara sauce and he liked the shrimp and scallops diner. Our daughter had seafood pasta that had a good tasting brothie sauce. Father got and great filet cook med and loved it as well. BUT you may have to get there about pm to enjoy the beautiful view from outdoor lawn seats to top off this meal. Or pay the price of waiting by the ocean to eat (my parents loved it and would go back too)

I'm never going to have turtle soup again. Did you know that they don't cook from the food in the restaurant? You just heat it up. Last time I went I got a pizza and it was way too salty. ick

My son gave the calamari a 9.5 and it didn't even come with marinara sauce and he liked the shrimp and scallops diner. Our daughter had seafood pasta which had a good tasting brothie sauce. Dad got and med great fillet cooking and loved it too. BUT you can get there around 5pm to enjoy the beautiful view from outside lawn seats to enjoy that meal. Clam chowder was good, crab cakes were great, overall was ok, great view, not from here but was good.

Great setting/view. FOod is... ok. Perhaps. Service was nice to start but couldn't find them for other things. There are other places that are much better. Even the coast guard house. Or Crazy Burger for a fun atmosphere. Or continue to Matunuck Oyster Bar which is NOT to be missed Or head to Jamestown to Trattoria Simpatico for much better food and ambiance. Turtle soup wasn't amazing. I didn't exist either way. I come back. But I have more on my list.
