Spain of Narragansett

My partner and I were very excited to dinate here, as it is highly recommended and clearly has great reviews. Unfortunately, the experience was lacking and in total incredibly disappointing. at the beginning our cocktails tasted like pure alcohol and lacked the taste profiles described in the menu. the appetizers were good, but it's pretty hard to screw calamari and chorizo. for dinner we had the heavy fish and the lamb frame. the lamb was ordered in a rare medium and came completely raw. the heavy fish was inspiring and little taste. when the lamb finally came back at the right temperature, it had also little taste. none of the dishes had no salt at all. I was honestly not so disappointed by a culinary experience in a very, very long time, and it is a shame that our limited vacation time was spent here when there are dozens of other decisions in the opposite. as a lover of good eating, there is nothing more disappointment, then they go out of their way to try a new place to leave just that they have never left, especially during vacation. I would step back if I had not mentioned how the glasses and teller looked like they had come from ceces pizza or a cheap vegas buffet.

I came with a group of 9 for a bachelor party dinner. our table was not ready at the arrival, although the restaurant contacted us to confirm five separate times. we didn't have to wait too long until they put together a few tables, but that was a little annoying. everyone enjoyed their food thoroughly as eating was incredible. I had an octopus special I still dream about! the parts were also huge! the beverages were straight alcohol essentially great, but bad mixology depends on what they are looking for. will I have gone back? the only thing I would do differently is to order a bottle of wine for the table instead of the mixed drinks. bottom line: amazing eating, decent experience otherwise

The atmosphere was pleasant, waiter was very professional, lobster was brilliant, I have a hard time, although with the $40 ribeye. it was hard and chewing, I doubt it was a ribeye, it was a cheap meat and she called it a ribeye.

They were busy, but the service was still excellent. Two of us split the paella for two, which was really terrific: including everything you would expect of a complex paella. It is also a bargain priced for two. It would probably feed three. My wife had linguini and clams which has recently become one of her favorites. She throughly enjoyed that, with plenty of clams.

What can I say. Never a bad meal and the service was GREAT!
