The Loaf and Ale - Napanee

I'm going to the laub! You have a variety of gluten-free options sandwiches, burgers and a few restaurants. I've never been sick since I've eaten here. In any case, would recommend other celiacs

I was passing through town and decided to stop at this restaurant for a steak dinner on the patio. I was completely satisfied with my meal.

The fish tasted off and chips were obviously refried. The steak and Guinness stew was good but the Yorkshire pudding was stale and tough as leather. The waitress was terrible- just only smiled when we paid and left. Not too many choices in town but will wait for a while to return.

In the last two years, every time I have ordered from this restaurant, I have received the incorrect order. It has happened consistently and it is my fault for expecting things to improve. I will not be dining here again.

Friday night when it gets busy. The food was delicious, but the service was lacking. Our appetizer didn't arrive until 40 minutes after we ordered it and our main dishes came out cold. It seems like the restaurant could use more staff, especially on busy nights like Friday.
