Le Havre is an extraordinary good restaurant where, workers and regulars like to share a wholesome lunch before returning to work. Only open at lunch time, I just love it. Great ambiance and very French, I am at home.It is a family affaire, Chef Herve and wife Betty together with daughter Innes ensure that service is rapid, people are satisfied and always with a happy smile. Being one of the most important ports of France, Le Havre was almost destroyed during the Second World War. Hence, it doesn't have the appeal of other French cities. The modern cathedral has a unique architecture and stain glass.

It takes 15 to 20 minutes to walk from the ship to the town centre.There really isn't too much to do.There's a church which is actually pretty impressive...not much else to see.Find yourself a bar which serves food and relax.I would definitely go back just for the food!

Nice place where you eat well-crafted simple dishes. Very little waiting time, ideal if we're in a hurry. You have about 20 000 euros for entry/plat/dessert. A good lunch canteen without chichis!
