Cassidy Country Kitchen - Nanaimo

They often stopped for lunch and dinner. Great food, friendly staff. The prices have risen lately, but do not have everything in the world? Very recommended.

I would like to thank one of the chefs and the manager (owner) who helped me a night last week. I was driving with my electric car from Cobble Hill. I stopped in Duncan as planned and the charger I needed was out of order. I tried to drive to Nanaimo with very little battery. I was forced to take off the Hwy in this restaurant at 9:00. I was desperate to use an outside outlet to charge my battery so I could go home. I was on the edge of the tears when I was a single woman alone in the dark. Although it was not a public charging station, I am grateful that they allowed me to charge the night behind their restaurant. I'm always grateful to help me get home this night?

Food was decent, prices okay. The staff was all miserable. 2 servers never cracked a smile, not friendly until it was time to pay / tap then easily friendly. A woman came out of the kitchen, was miserable and the eye rolled on the waitress. The rooms/decor are okay. Probably not running back
