Contribuiți la feedbackA friend and I discovered this restaurant online and were immediately drawn to the menu. We decided to give it a try last Friday and we were pleasantly surprised. The restaurant was hidden at the bottom of a hotel and had a beautiful decoration, creating a great atmosphere. We started with a belgian mojito and a ping pong show as our aperitif, both of which were excellent. Our main dishes (Sambre et Boules de Meuse for one, Hamburger Jack with a Daniels Jack for the other) were generous portions and delicious, served with fries and veggies. The service was great and the waitress checked on us regularly. The total bill was reasonable at around forty euros. The menu could use a refresh online to accurately reflect all the options available in the restaurant. I would recommend this restaurant for a casual outing with a friend (although the space is relatively small) or for a relaxed business meeting.
I was super disappointed: the card announced the sambre and meuse sauce (my favorite sauce) but obviously their chef never tasted. They serve under this name a thick coulis of high tomatoes of some aromatic herbs, but no tarragon or fresh cream, it is a comb. and if the service was pleasant, I can not forget how long and difficulty my digestion was all night until the next afternoon.
A friend and I discovered this restaurant online and were immediately drawn in by the menu. We decided to give it a try last Friday and we were not disappointed. The restaurant is tucked away at the bottom of a hotel with beautiful decor and a great atmosphere. We started off with a Belgium mojito and a ping pong show for our aperitifs, both of which were excellent. Our dishes arrived promptly and we were pleasantly surprised by the generous portions. I had the Sambre et Boules de Meuse while my friend enjoyed the Hamburger Jack with Jack Daniels. Both dishes came with fries and a selection of fresh vegetables. We were both satisfied with our choices and would highly recommend them. The waitress was friendly and attentive, checking on us regularly. The total bill was around forty euros, which we felt was reasonable. The restaurant also offers daily specials in addition to their regular menu. The only suggestion I have is for them to update their online menu to reflect all the options available in the restaurant. Overall, I would recommend this restaurant for a casual meal with a friend or a relaxed business meeting, just be mindful of the small dining area if arriving at peak hours.
With a friend, we spotted this restaurant on the internet. We liked the map. We finally tested this Friday, and we were not disappointed. First of all, we were surprised to discover the restaurant room, well hidden at the bottom of the hotel. Nice decoration, a good atmosphere at the rendezvous. we chose our aperitif (a belgium mojito and a ping pong show,) both excellent. We received a few flaks the time our dish was served. Once we had the dish at the table, we thought we had a lot of food. sambre and meuse balls for one, burger jack (in daniels jack) for the other. all accompanied by fries and crudities (half of the plate sprinkled with vinaigrette. We were both satisfied with our dish and recommend what we chose. To conclude, our waitress was very pleasant and came to check if everything was going well from time to time. the total price seemed quite correct to me (about forty euros in all.) and for those who like the variety, the restaurant offers suggestions in addition to the regular map, and the dishes of the day. I would simply add that we should refresh the map available on the internet, which does not present all the dishes actually offered on site. I recommend this restaurant for a two or a friend outing (attention, better avoid getting to the room being relatively small), or for a professional appointment in the relaxation.
I was super disappointed: the card announced the sambre and meuse sauce (my favorite sauce) but obviously their chef never tasted it. They serve under this name a thick coulis of tomatoes raised from a few aromatic herbs, but no tarragon or fresh cream, it is a comble. and if the service was pleasant, I cannot forget how long and difficult my digestion was all night until the next afternoon.
