Greentail’s Seafood Market And Kitchen

I had the fish tacos for lunch, which were at best moderate. I was led here by the high rating on google maps, but it is clearly overestimated in my opinion. either that or only the fishtacos are not very good, in which case they should improve them or fall them from the menu to avoid my experience. the tacos were not particularly delicious, dry, and the combination of aromen did not work very well together.

I spent the last two octobers in the obx. a local fishing guide told me about this place in 2020, so I checked it. I was tied up so I'd be there a few times in the week. I had the most fish garnel on the menu. both steamed rhimp for home. her cocktail sauce is excellent. many fish to take home and grill me, including some I never had like pomfret. also their sandwiches are phenomenal. try a side of the hush puppy and they will not be disappointed. never had a bad experience at greentails. the only disappointment was when you were steaming this year on the fritz, so did I have to cook my own garnel?

We wanted to make some seafood at the cottage we were staying at. We were limiting how much we went out to eat. Our host had recommended Greentails. So we sopped by and got some very fresh shrimp and fish. Can’t remember name of type of fish but a very nice light white fish caught that morning. The service was great and server walked through the different fish after we said we had wanted some light fresh fish. Excellent Place for seafood.

We dined at Greentail's for the first time at the OBX Seafood Festival and it quickly became our favorite of the day! We returned this past Saturday to sample more dishes. The flavors and combinations were creative and amazing. I will definitely be a regular at this restaurant and never get tired of the delicious offerings.

I wish we had discovered this restaurant earlier during our trip! The food was exceptional. Each ingredient was prepared thoughtfully and the flavors were creative and well-executed. The customer service was also fantastic! I would return to the Outer Banks just to dine here again. Thank you for a wonderful experience!
