Champy's - Murfreesboro

We enjoyed the warm and casual atmosphere of the restaurant. However, we were seated near the front door and felt a draft every time it was opened (we later asked to be moved to a different table). The hot tamales were excellent and came with a side of coleslaw which was tasty. Our chicken dishes took quite some time to be served, but the floor manager quickly apologized for the delay. The chicken was hot and flavorful. We would definitely consider returning to try out the desserts in a warmer seating area.

Good food and fast service. we loved their tamal, sweet heat chicken salad and gummy.

I visited this restaurant for the first time and I am extremely pleased with my choice! My friend and I ordered a 3-piece white meat chicken plate and 6 rolls to share. We also had kartoffels with gravy, bacon gouda mac and cheese, and cole slaw as side dishes. Everything was delicious!

I'm not sure if they changed their recipe, but this meal was comparable to KFC. Our waitress was almost non-existent. The location in Chattanooga was much better the last time I visited. This used to be my favorite chicken place, but now I think I had my last meal there.

Champy's delivered a catering order to my employer this morning, and it was easily one of the best catered lunches we've had. The chicken and hot food was stored in these hardshell containers to keep everything warm, and in addition the french fries were wrapped in aluminum.End result? The food was seemingly just as fresh as eating at the restaurant. Fried foods don't travel well, but they've cracked the code on how to properly transport fried chicken and french fries. Of note: I've never had their key lime pie because it didn't seem right to order dessert after eating fried chicken.I couldn't have been more wrong. That key lime pie was the highlight of the meal, and I need to find out how to buy an entire pie.
