Outside The Square Cafe - Mudgee

Overall lovely, the food ordered,eggs Benedict good, the Bircher and Choc cherry museli were fresh and well presented. Sydney standards yes!

Best eggs Benedict I have ever had and excellent granola. Freshly squeezed juice and chocolate thick shake. Polite staff and excellent service. Highly recommend if you are in Mudgee.

I was rather excited to go here as the vegan big breakfast looked like a really yummy option after checking out the menu online, and as we arrived there was a line up down the street! This only made me more excited, busy means good...right? Wrong. After a 45 minute wait, which I didn't mind, it was busy I understand, the pumpkin was raw and freezing cold, the tomato was barely warm on the outside and stone cold in the middle, the avocado was too firm to serve, and the beetroot relish was not relish and in fact just shredded beetroot. This was a disgraceful breakfast at an incredibly unreasonable price. If you offer a vegan breakfast option, at least make it edible. I had to go t McDonald's for hash browns to satisfy my hunger. Very disappointing. Coffee was bitter and soy milk was burnt. As a barista and coffee shop employee myself, I will not be returning to this cafe

Second time this week completely ignored by staff. Watched others sit outside near me and be offered menus and orders taken in under 3 mins. Read paper while waiting. 43mins and I just gave up. Totally pathetic. In clear view of staff. Zero service. Recommended...visitors go anywhere else.

We needed a quick breakfeast this morning (24 11 2022). So we asked a local Dog walker. he offered 5 suggestions. We chose Outside the Square Cafe. Very comfy friendly and the hole in the wall Take Away was doing a roaring business (always a good...sign). Bacon eggs were great runny eggs. Coffee, wonderful! Great spot.!!
