Smitty's Restaurant - Mount Pearl

We decided to try this restaurant and were pleased with the quiet atmosphere and prompt, friendly service. Our food arrived on time, but unfortunately, the person cooking the sausage and bacon overcooked them. As a result, we struggled to finish our meals and left most of the meat on our plates. Despite this, we didn't complain and simply agreed to try a different place next time due to the current economic conditions.

I'm often here and never disappointed. Service is good, food is tasty and a fair price point, servings can be huge, depending on the order (pancake size plate). Overall a great experience

I have always enjoyed the food and service at Smitty's. The meal I had was good, but not great - perhaps just a good day. The wait staff was excellent, however the checkout experience was only good, not great. I plan to return and see how things are in a few months.

Under normal circumstances Sunday mornings 9-11 standing room only. No trouble getting a table (even with covid precautions . Server was prompt and coffee was hot. Not sure why they haven't had shredded hashbrowns (supplier issue? ,thats my only complaint. Recommend any breakfast item won't go wrong.

Server maintained a casual, friendly appearance while being fast and very efficient our empty coffee cups were swapped out for hot, fresh before we even realized it! We both ordered the Breakfast Special with pancakes 'cause it 's Smitty 's, right? Food came quickly, was hot and...tasty. Serving size was generous but not too big. All Covid-19 protocols appeared to be followed. No complaints. We 'll be back.
