LA CREPERIE DU SOLEIL - Mouchamps

This place is a jewel, great food sitting or taking away. In summer it is really busy, always book. They have a large outdoor space and inside. Also a walk around the village as it is pretty.

Writing in English as some of the comments below seem unjustified English people should be as great as we. We spend our last night here every time we are in the area and have never been disappointed. Franck even recognizes my voice when I phone! Good value for money, delicious food with great choice and beautiful ambience, whether on the cozy ground floor or on the first floor with interesting North African style decor, or for a special summer look in the beautiful terrace, accompanied by birds singing from their cages, water from the well, and wonderful tropical flowers. I love the galettes de blé noir (especially the Popeye Spinat!, my husband the generous salads. Many delicious ice-cold desserts and I always love the Café Gourmet (coffee plus 3 mini desserts). Selection of beer and wines: I often have a Melusine, local craft beer. Franck obviously loves his place, his customers and his work. He asks himself with such a small staff. We ate twice during our 3 days stay in Les petite Chateau des Cidres. The pizzas are delicious, fresh and very thin. The wine was reasonable and service very good

Had a lovely relaxing lunch sitting on the pretty front terrace. The pizza was one of the tastiest we've had and the crepes were delicious.Staff were friendly and helpful.

We went with our friends and buyers of my houses in Vendee..very warm welcome. Good friendly staff. It is like the South of France in West France.....wonderful crepes and Galettes, imaginative menu..great atmosphere.
