The Porterhouse Bistro - MOSS VALE

Just like any other pub, in any other country town, this place serves very basic food, although it serves quite well. hamburger, nachos, grundsteaks, chicken parmigiana, chicken carving. they know the drill. but the place redeems with a good mood, it is very clean, well maintained. service is quite fast, drinks (from the bar) are reasonable, it is all in 90 minutes (including dessert, again from the usual cheesecake, waffeln et al.) not critical but not effective. that's 2 x straight that you'd swear you were on the road.

I'm not sure if this should have been out of food or even if I should see it as a normal pricing in the highlands, but it was average. I have a smoked chicken special, which seemed not smoked and came with solid beans, which a smokey southern taste as described, plus a lot of salate, but generally small and basic for $25. the $18 cooked was much smaller. the dining room can become very loud and the narrow gap between our table and a column turned out to be the main orientation that was not pleasant. the bar has no real outside space, but a few decent beers to good trips and good service.

Definitely worth a visit! This pub offers excellent food and drinks with comfortable table seating, including a cozy central fireplace. The kitchen runs efficiently, serving meals in a timely manner. The location is convenient, with ample parking available, and the restrooms are spotless. Overall, the layout of the pub is well-designed.
