Excellent value, perfect service...and he took great care to ensure 100% compliance with all regulations for cleanliness.
Nick greated us, waited on us, fed us and sorted the drinks. All great food as very reasonable prices. 3 beef Stroganoffs and 3 great Filits. To start great onion and tomato soup and some salad. Excellent choice of local wines reasonably priced. We could have eaten here more, but only discovered it on out last night! Nick is a great host. AND at 67 he says hes a great skiier too!
We happened upon this restaurant one evening. It was quiet but the owner welcomed us in. The food was delicious, grilled chicken, Thai curry minute steak were our choices, all really great. A rustic atmosphere, lovely owner who is a real character and clearly great chef. Definitely worth a visit,
Had been here two years previously and had enjoyed a superb meal. Expectations were not met this time. Food was good and it wasn’t expensive but there was no great atmosphere and it just left me feeling underwhelmed. The service was cold and a little unfriendly we were not offered coffee for example. Perhaps I was expecting too much and it is a good enough place to eat but I can’t help feeling there are much better.
We went for a meal 6 people, ages ranging from 5 to 76. The food was OK, the atmosphere was a little dead. I was disappointed as the main meals were not French at all. They were edible, but I would certainly not rush back.
