Masala Wrap - Morrisville

We dined here as part of Yelp Restaurant Week and I had Masala Wrap bookmarked for the longest time. Located in Morrisville on 54, it is by the Mobil gas station and Dominos pizza. The restaurant is casual with booth seating, two soda machines on the left and then a counter with a register and the fresh ingredients displayed behind th glass counter. You place your order on the left side. The menu is displayed on the wall above and sorted by wrap, bowls, hot dishes, sides, etc. I had seen pictures online of the wraps and was trying to decide between a wrap and a bowl. I ordered the bowl with the tikka masala chicken and then you pick from white or brown rice (reminds me a bit of Chipotle and new Poke establishments), vegetables and sauce. I added carrots, peppers and cilantro and the mint yogurt sauce. They also have Biryani plates on Friday nights and all day Saturday so I was also tempted to try that. We did not order the Masala fries yet the manager came out and brought us an order on the house and they were pipping hot. They have masala spices on them and are cooked to perfection. I highly recommend getting an order of fries with your order. Next time I will get a wrap to compare and maybe also the samosas. The owners were very friendly and proud of their restaurant, the tables were all clean, and I can see this being very popular for the RTP and Morrisville lunch crowd. The options are casual, fast and great taste of India without a sit down dinner or buffet option. I will definitely be back.

The food is delicious and flavorful, not overly spicy! It's the perfect option for lunch, offering more than just a snack but less than a full meal. They also have a kids' menu, and I was pleased to find out that it's free on Mondays! I ordered a chicken tikka wrap and was pleasantly surprised to receive a complimentary cookie and juice. The owners were very courteous, greeting everyone and checking in on the food quality and taste, which demonstrates their commitment to excellence.

Delicious food, fresh ingredients, and excellent service. This restaurant is like a Chipotle for Indian cuisine, where you can choose your favorite protein, sauces, and vegetables wrapped in naan or served in a bowl.

I absolutely loved this place! First off, the food was incredible. The masala fries were packed with flavor, and the bature in the chole bature was incredibly soft, fluffy, and filling. The chana was perfectly spiced. I decided to try the lamb keema uttapam out of curiosity, and I’m so glad I did—it was a fantastic choice! We truly enjoyed our meal and the service was excellent. I'm definitely looking forward to coming back for their bowls and wraps, but I was not disappointed at all with what we had. Also, a big shoutout to them for using biodegradable and eco-friendly plates. Great job, everyone!

The naan bread is freshly made and absolutely delicious. They also offer it in a wrap option. The main cashier is very pleasant and friendly. The prices are reasonable, especially considering the generous portion sizes. This place is definitely one of my go-to spots for lunch during the week.
