Charlmont - Morristown

Cried day before to reserve for the party of 8 when we were there we were sitting and because there were so many of us, we could only order from the special board or the buffet. we were not even menus my sister said that the waitress did not think that was fair, as we were not told about it they came back with menus and only ordered a few tassen chowder and a few appetizers the salatbar was pretty good. but the buffet was something different. the main rib was very hard to chew. ham and truthahn was good broccoli was so over boiled mush. the desserts were ok. disposed of in the sky lemon cheesecake. the waitress only checked back twice that was certainly not worth the money. I wish we had all left when we said we would get the menu. that is a group that would not be back

Terrible eating! tasteless eating bad service. would never come back, they wouldn't waste their money here.

Whole family all enjoyed very good food (Italian dish, burger, sandwich, and children’s menu items) and great service. Restaurant was right next door to our hotel so very convenient. Thank you!

On a weekend vacation with my husband, 2yr old, and 7 yr old to Smuggs. Stopped at Charlmont for breakfast on our way home. The owner refused to to serve us inside because we were from out of state. We ate out all weekend no problems. We’ve played by all the rules during the pandemic (YES we are both vaccinated and wear masks everywhere. we ate outside because our 7 year was so hungry he was in tears. Both of our children were freezing as the sky was back ready to storm and the wind was blowing everything off the table and picking up the umbrella. We chose to humble ourselves because our children needed food and accept the severe discrimination that happened. The wait staff was lovey and felt very uncomfortable passing the message along because owner didn’t have the guts to come out of the kitchen and talk to us for them! A good (but hard life lesson for my son as he was begging for us to eat inside and we had to tell him we weren’t allowed. We have taught him to love all... Now he’s learned what it feels like when others don’t. Photos to show this is a real review.

Charlmont is a great restaurant for any meal. The food is great, the staff is very good and service excellent. We go there a lot for breakfast, lunch and dinner
