Our very hungry family of 7, visiting Vermont from Texas, came upon this after the extreme flooding. We had been visiting family and driving for hours after numerous road closures and hadn’t eaten all day. We were sad that they are renovating so the dining room was closed. We ordered a large takeout order and it was amazing! Extremely flavorful authentic food just I remember as a kid! The flavors of every dish were just amazing. Each had its distinct taste. Some of our faves were Dumplings, Chicken wings so good! , Beef Teriyaki, Lo Mein, Szechuan Chicken, and General Tao’s. We all definitely recommend this restaurant!

Overall not the best Chinese food around. Edible for sure. Marginal on flavor, small portions (smaller than the other Chinese restaurants in town for the same price that they charge. Which honesty if the food was better I would not complain. I don't mind paying for better tasting quality food, however when the food is average I do not think paying extra for the same food offered at other local Chinese restaurants in a smaller container makes a lot of sense. Their large plastic containers are 2/3rd the size of the other chinese restaurants in town. I have lived in town for 15 years and eaten only 7 times at green dragon considering that I think it's worth trying their food occasionally to see if it got any better, but sadly it has not. 3 stars is generous.
