I stopped by to try a screaming salami sandwich. However, I was put off when I saw how the girl who prepared it handled the food. She put the broth directly on her open palm while chatting with another girl, scratched her head, and then handled cheese and meat without any gloves. The sandwich sat in a toaster oven for at least a minute as she talked, and after taking a moment to wipe her arm, she placed it on the table without any paper underneath it. I asked for a refund and politely inquired why they don't wear gloves. Their response was that they would only ask if customers requested it—absolutely ridiculous! Health standards should be a priority without needing to be asked. I’m very concerned about the potential health risks here, and I will not be returning.

This is a fantastic family restaurant! The staff is very friendly, and the food is top-notch!

I had a very disappointing experience with the manager's attitude when I inquired about why the staff doesn’t wear gloves while handling food. Instead of addressing my concern seriously, he laughed. I followed up by asking if they had received any special approval from the health department, and he chuckled again. After that, he walked away and simply said, "No, but we do get into trouble with them." This response was quite unprofessional and concerning.
