The Sun Inn - Morpeth

We had a fantastic meal on Saturday afternoon, so we decided to return for Sunday dinner, and it was the best decision! The meal was absolutely wonderful; we both had the trio of pork, which was delicious. I highly recommend it. The staff was beautiful and polite, reflecting well on the owners. Although we were on a weekend trip, we both agreed that we would gladly drive the 50 miles just for the food! Thank you and well done!

My partner and I visit whenever we can, and after the renovation, the place is still fantastic! I highly recommend the Thai curry, which is available with chicken, king prawns, or a delicious veggie option that I absolutely love! During our last visit, my partner tried the chicken and chorizo skewers and really enjoyed them. The portion sizes are generous, the food is cooked to order, and the staff is wonderful! I give it five stars! xx

How fantastic is the newly renovated Sun Inn! I absolutely love the new space. Today, my husband surprised me with a birthday dinner, and the food was exceptional! The pub felt so cozy as we looked out at the beautiful, snow-covered scenery while enjoying the warmth inside. The dishes were cooked to perfection, and the service was top-notch. I highly recommend visiting!

We had the retiring party of my mother and couldn't blame her. all have complicated the back, eating was nice and even on my vegan diet (killi for the carnivores and a vegan risotto with nachos, garlic bread and salads . above all the staff was exceptional and there was no hurry to get us out when they served in the evening. we hope to come back to midday soon.

We had our table booked yesterday for 1pm, we arrived 30 minutes early expecting to wait in the bar but were taken to our table straight away which was nice! Sunday dinner was lovely, I had beef and my wife pork and we both enjoyed! Would come back again anytime despite the drive from Newcastle. Well done to the staff and chefs for a lovely experience!
