The service at this restaurant was top-notch, the food was delicious, and it wasn't too crowded. I can't wait to go back. The menu is varied and offers a great selection.

The black bear diner serves the best orange juice you will ever taste! They use a real orange juice extractor with actual oranges, resulting in the freshest, real orange juice that is not from concentrate. It is pressed fresh when you order it! The Mother's breakfast was hot and cooked to perfection by the attentive staff. We will definitely be returning to enjoy more delicious food.

I typically come here for breakfast and it is always excellent. This time I came for dinner on 4/22 at 7:30pm. I ordered the pot roast and it tasted bland and tough, as if it had been cooked with sweet ingredients. My plate was soaked with water from the roast and there was a napkin placed under one side of my plate to prevent my potatoes from getting soggy. The service was slow, even though the restaurant was not very busy for a Friday night.

We lucked out and only had to wait about 10 minutes to be seated. Which for the morning is unheard of. There's usually a longer wait between 30 to 45 mins. Our waitress was very nice and attentive. She made sure all our orders came out as requested and refilled our drinks without having to be asked. The sweet cream pancakes are by far the best pancakes. The simplicity of the sweet cream, butter and syrup was perfect. Nothing more needed to be added! Breakfast was delicious and we will definitely come back again. The only negative thing I can say is regarding the cups and silverware, two place settings had food stuck on the silverware, and one cup was dirty. Our waitress apologized and provided new silverware and a new cup without hesitation. Just something to be minndful of if you plan to eat here.
