Serendipity Cafe And - Moorpark

We always enjoy delicious food at this restaurant. We visited on New Year's Eve for dinner at 7 PM with some friends, and overall, everything was fantastic, except for the noise level. They had a DJ playing on the dining side, which was fine, but the music was incredibly loud and not suitable for a dining atmosphere. I understand it's New Year's Eve, but the party music could have started a bit later, after families had finished their meals. The only other drawback was the limited bar menu, and no wine was available initially. However, when we asked the manager about getting a bottle, they were accommodating and allowed us to purchase one. The food was excellent, and even though the menu was somewhat limited, it was still enjoyable. The staff was extremely friendly and met all our requests. I definitely recommend giving this place a try; they are fantastic!

The steak was caked in butter and not in a good way and the mojitos tasted like syrup. Never dinning in at their steakhouse again.

I really wanted to like this place but was disappointed. It looked like the more casual, bar area was fun and had better food.

The steaks were too salty, and the vegetables were served cold. Disappointing for the prices, we were hoping for a great steakhouse meal.

We have eaten breakfast at serendipity in the past. My wife and I are celebrating our anniversary. We were impressed with their aging process for their cuts of beef displayed at the restaurant. I ordered the filet mignon. With a side order of grilled Brussel sprouts. Excellent cut of beef. Seasoning is heavier than I am accustomed to on a cut of meat. The service was good. I posted on the reservation we were celebrating our wedding anniversary—no comments from the staff.
