Planted Eats - Montville

Loved this place! Everything can be made vegan. Loved that it was gluten free too. So many options were grain free too (I don't eat corn). Their sandwiches were amazing (Jefe was the best). Plus the owners were super nice and talkative and helpful. I wish I could give this place 5 stars.

Cute place with a nice interior, but was disappointed with the food. The vegan bacon was hard and honestly just did not taste good. Also ordered a vanilla caramel latte with oat milk and it was very watered down and had a lot of cinnamon for some reason? overall not worth going again.

Great experience, nice staff. Very helpful and accommodating and environmentally conscious. I would give them a 4.8 out of 5 if I could. The atmosphere is inviting, and clean, and has a community vibe. The quality of the food was tasty as it's mostly made in-house and organic. Plenty of different drinks and a plethora of vegan baked goods too. Have ready-to-go options too. That said, the only thing I didn't like was the elderberry coffee. It tasted like bad fermented fruit

Had a fantastic lunch here. The vegan sandwiches were so good, and we bought quite a lot of stuff to take with us for later bread, empanadas, cookies. Had a nice chat with the owner too!

THE BEST food I?ve had eating out in years! Barely even knew it was vegan, the focaccia bread was so fluffy and flavorful. We had the caprese sandwich and the Julia sandwich, plus a sugar free chocolate chip cookie. All INCREDIBLE!
