Restaurant L’insense - Montpellier

I was invited to dinner with a group. Restaurant is a large room, but still had a nice atmosphere even with full space. Prompt service and nice food. Had appetizer, main and desert.

It's a fantastic restaurant! We had an enormous time here twice! We had the chance for lunch and loved it so much that we came back for dinner. The message here is just a few hundred meters more walk and you can... the wonderful food and hospitality in Insense instead of some Bland extremely expensive tourist experience in the main areas. Our dinner here was a triumph from the beginning to the end. Beautiful location in the gallery, a beautiful warm silence night, excellent food and drinks and absolutely excellent hospitality. Seriously, we couldn't owe it. It was extraordinary. I had the tuna tataki for duck, and the calves with mash for main. My partner had the melon and ham for the duck with the gazpacho, and steactare for main. The dishes were an important size and they are beautifully presented and taste excellent. We loved her. Our desserts were the chocolate cake and Amoretto Sorbet and I had the Hungarian ice cream. The desserts were also excellent! All around, it was an excellent high-quality meal at a modest price. Our local wine was also a beauty. Cedric was our waiter and he really helped make it such a great night for us. So competent and professional, so lovable, informed and funny. This was the service of the highest order. He was very impressive and so it helped to make this a nice night for us. This is a very good restaurant and a very coherent, smooth and well managed business. If you do not come from the main tourist areas and come here, you are crazy.

Read the online reviews I was hesitant to taste this restaurant, but it was too hot to walk far and the menu looked interesting. Very pleasant surprise. Appetizer was beautiful – Melone with ham (see photo) in gazpacho. I had the calfsal and my friend the fish. Both were fabulous. Prices were not inappropriate given the quality. Recommended.

Even while we were in a large group, I was served my plates adapted to specific allergy. Thank you for the delicious version of the menu!

We had a very enjoyable lunch in the shade on the restaurant's terrace. The service was friendly, we got what we ordered, and very tasty.
