Our family-size and regular-size Capricciosa pizzas were very good. The young lady who waited on us was delightful, friendly, competent and spoke excellent English (I think her name is Serena? She had a long, dark pony tail), but the other employees and owners seemed to be having a bad night....no smiles, no greetings....nothing. Well....they DID greet a few regulars, but certainly didn’t go out of their way to acknowledge or greet a new and foreign customer. Thank goodness for Serena. I hope the owners realize what a gem they have in her! The Tagliolini con Scampi e Porcini pasta was an extreme disappointment. There WERE some porcini mushrooms in the pasta, but scampi??? No, no, no! It looked like one tiny scampi had been cut up into about 4 teensy pieces. For 13 Euro, we expected maybe 5 scampi with the pasta. If they were out of scampi and told us so, that would have been fine.....we could have ordered something else. So, very disappointed in the pasta dish, which cost only 4 Euros less than both pizzas combined. Oh, well, this is why we try new places, right? Thank goodness we didn’t order the Frutti di Mare pasta, which we almost ordered.....one wonders how little seafood would have gone into that pasta dish. Would probably consider going back for pizza (and Serena) as it’s nearby, but if the cold reception from owners persisted, we’d probably end up going elsewhere.

We see there is an unflattering review, however we were there on Christmas Eve for dinner and the service, pizza, wine, calzone and atmosphere were all pleasing. Prices were amazing! Four adults ate with appetizer, wine, bottled water more for only 50 Euro. The poor reviewer should give it another chance. If in the area we would come here again.

It was a very busy Sunday night in the holiday week of ferragusto. I think there were too many people it all got out of hand. Stupidly we ordered fried stuff to start. It was pretty grim, fried bits of bread, some croquettes which we couldn't identify. Pizza was sort of OK, I can list half a dozen places in SW london that provide a higher quality product at a cheaper price. Tagliata was grey insipid, chicken is a highlight. If you're here have the chicken, it's what they do best. A service was frantic, felt v sorry fir the guys rushed off their feet getting orders all wrong. I don't think it's normally like this. Really wish we had just popped into one of the restaurants along side of piazza marina which were way more relaxed could have had a better dinner. Overall quite grim v disappointing for S Italy.
