Luminarias Special Events

Food was good but server seemed rushed and didn’t take the time to listen to what the customer needed. Also, I specifically told host that I wanted to be seated inside and he directed me to a table outside instead. Ii had to show him that there were at least 4 empty tables inside before he finally seated us inside.

Loved the atmosphere. Had a great time with friends. Food was good and service was pleasant.

We dined on January 31, 2002. We were promptly seated at our reservation time in a quiet area of the restaurant with great views of the San Gabriel Valley. The service was great, and the food and drinks met all of our expectations.

We visited Luminarias on New Year's Eve for the first time since its recent renovation. It has been handsomely updated with sleek and stylish decor. The views remain stunning and the new menu offers a wide selection of dishes, some Latin, but many American favorites, and all the dishes were perfectly prepared and presented. Service from our server, Jose, was exceptionally friendly, gracious and capable. All staff made us feel most welcome and appreciated. It was a first class experience in every way.

Beautiful patio view and good Happy Hour drinks, for dinner, our fav. was the crispy whole snapper !
